CCET ACM Student Chapter

he Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is an international learned society for computing. It was founded in 1947 and is the world’s largest scientific and educational computing society. It is a not-for-profit professional membership group. Its membership is more than 100,000 as of 2011. Its headquarters are in New York City. The ACM is an umbrella organization for academic and scholarly interests in computer science. Its motto is “Advancing Computing as a Science & Profession”.

What we do at ACM

Intuitive Thinking

Various seminars are held for students to learn, these seminars promote intuitive thinking among students

Workshops

Various workshops are organized which provides students a platform to not only learn but practice.

Code Anytime

An environment to code at our college. Everyone utilizes the time they have to produce what they can with no boundaries.

Editorial

The Editorial Team is responsible for documenting the Chapter's daily proceedings.

Marketing

Promoting sponsorships and outreach in the computer science industries and professional link-ups.

Events and Workshops

Managing events and workshops egaging over a hundred students. This team makes such hardships seem like a walk in the park.

Designing

Graphics are one the most important aspects to any Chapter activity. The designing team handles the entire graphic designing - from posters to promotional movies and after-movies - for the Chapter

Curating

Bringing the Brialliant minds around the world to CCET in order to promote technical advancements and new ideas in Computer Scinece

Technical

The Chapter's backbone, the Techncial Team not only designs the websites and apps for the Chapter, but also propogates the culture of coding and works on projects that help students learn while solving real life problems
